Honey improves circulation of the blood through the brain and can improve memory. Two or three teaspoonfuls of honey daily may prevent the onset of viruses.
Cataracts have been successfully treated with the use of honey applied under the lower eyelid. Sometimes there may be a transient stinging sensation and redness soon after application. Manuka honey has a high level of anti-bacterial activity.
