Common veterinary drugs
It is a sad fact that vets have very little to offer apart from vaccines, steroids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs), and antibiotics. It’s not their fault: it’s the conventional medical model’s fault. It’s what they have been taught.
By advocating processed pet food and over-vaccinating, vets are setting your animals up for ill health. Their only solution appears to be to administer steroids and NSAIDs which reduce inflammation at a very high cost. Side effects of these drugs can range from bloody diarrhoea, jaundice, aggression, and organ failure - to death. Of course they often work in the short term, but what about the long term?
Alongside these drugs, your vet might also prescribe antibiotics. Like steroids and NSAIDs, antibiotics do have their place, especially in life or death situations. But they are over-used, which leads to a number of unwanted effects. These include the destruction of good bacteria in the gut, leading to further ill health, and antibiotic resistance.
